One of the main goals of AskingCanadians’ is to provide researchers, marketers, brands and other businesses with an easy online method for conducting, obtaining and understanding the results from surveys for products, services and other ideas. We then work, on our client’s behalf, with our panellists who are part of our AskingCanadians community to complete the survey, and then deliver the data collected to our clients.

If you are an AskingCanadians panellist, we ask that you review the AskingCanadians privacy policy to understand the terms governing your personal information. The terms contained herein are in addition to the terms contained on the AskingCanadians privacy policy.

What personal information do we collect? And why?

General. The purposes for which we collect personal information are either set out in this Privacy Policy or we will identify such other purposes for collecting your personal information at or before the time it is collected as required by law.

If you provide your personal information, we will store and use such information that we need to meet your requests and otherwise for purposes consistent with the terms of this privacy policy.

Account Information. We do not require you to provide personal information in order for you to access, open or browse the Website. The choice to provide us with your personal information, either directly or through a third party, is always yours. However, your decision to withhold particular information may limit our ability to provide you with some of our products or services.

Respondent Information. We work with the panellists from AskingCanadians to complete our surveys. These panellists are respondents to the survey. As a respondent to a survey, we may use your personal information to invite you to participate in surveys and to conduct surveys, but as with all personal information, we do not sell and will not divulge your information to third parties other than as contemplated herein. In addition, we will not use your personal information for any purposes other than conducting surveys, unless you have authorized us to do so.

Methodify undertakes the surveys on behalf of its clients. For purposes of completing the surveys and analyzing the results, Methodify works solely with persons who have voluntarily opted in to become panellists with AskingCanadians. If you would like to update or remove information from your account, please contact us at the contact information listed below.

Respondent Data. AskingCanadians’ collects and stores all survey responses and data but does not, and will not, disclose or sell such information to third parties other than as specified herein or as otherwise disclosed to you. We may disclose information to third party service providers who are operating on our behalf and who are subject to obligations of confidentiality relating to such information.

The creator of each survey owns, and is ultimately responsible for the privacy of, the content of each such survey. All questions regarding a particular survey should be directed to the creator of such survey.

Correspondence. If you contact us to provide feedback, comments or inputs or for any other reason, whether by phone, email, or any other means of communication, we may keep a record of that correspondence and collect your personal information to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

Your Access. Please note that we generally keep a copy of personal information for our records. If you supply us with your personal information, you may later access it, update it, modify it and delete any inaccuracies. We aim to keep our information about you as accurate as possible.
